Build for Workstation + Future-proofing

Hi all, I’ve put together a spec and would appreciate any feedback or suggestions before I place the order. I’d rather go a bit overkill for future-proofing than save a few hundred quid and regret it later.

Uses:
The system will be used primarily for work, but I'd like to keep my options open for occasional light gaming in the future. My current workload includes:
  • Running multiple virtual machines
  • Working with Docker containers
  • Running local Elasticsearch or PostgreSQL instances with large datasets
  • Indexing, searching, and compiling large codebases
  • Having dozens of browser tabs, terminal windows, and tools open simultaneously
  • Occasional Photoshop
  • Occasional light video editing
No streaming or 3D rendering. I’m aiming for something that’s quiet, cool, and stable, as the system will be running 24/7.

Monitor Setup (tbc, maybe something like):
4 x 24" 1440p @ 180 Hz (AOC Q24G4)
1 x 27" 4K @ 160 Hz (AOC U27G4R)
Four will connect directly to the GPU, with the fifth via a DisplayLink USB adapter.

Max Budget:
<£2,800.

I’m leaning toward the 16GB Palit RTX 5060 Ti Infinity 3 OC, mainly because of its triple-fan design, which I think will better suit the larger 5000T case :p.

With that budget you could go for a better/beefier CPU and GPU. Don't forget that this generation of CPU has an iGPU, so you don't even need to use a USB-C to DP adapter, just plug your 5th display into the motherboard at the top.

Something like this would give you plenty of service for many years...
