Yeah, that won't uninstall it.
But your windows will now be borked, clean install is the best way forward.

I'm having a right old time this week. Just had a separate issue with an SD card for my wildlife camera going from 128gb to 20gb which was solved very easily thankfully.
Yes the uninstall tool solved it, no uninstall feature within the program itself. It actually seems a really common blunder, I can't see it mentioned that there was any further issues but perhaps it would be hard to notice, so I guess I should go for the clean install as I'm sure you two know better than me and I need the peace of mind now.

None of these are issues though, it’s just not understanding basic windows administration.
Wver since NT days, you’d always search first for an official uninstaller and only use windows programs and features if one wasnt available.
The updates rebooting the system is simply a user setting in the settings menu that carries forward from your Microsoft account when you first login so suggests you’ve never set quiet hours or how the updates are installed
The very first thing you do with a new PC is set the OS how you want it, nowadays all those settings are backed up in your Microsoft account and automatically apply on a clean install.
Take some time to set things up properly, currently you’re making problems for yourself simply because you haven’t set up the OS before using it
Ok thanks I certainly will do when this is finally resolved.
I think I’ve just realised the restart issue and the armoury crate issue may have been coincidence and distraction.
Whilst trying to do a clean install I’ve still got the issue but looking more carefully I have an orange light on motherboard, DRAM, it’s probably something loose?
Below is what I had complied before, a video of what happens and device manager from before the reinstall, rear of pc etc. There was no optional updates, I think I’d done those.

Funnily enough corsair recommends you to uninstall ICUE from add or remove programs... although we could use revo to uninstall it I guess?
SOLUTION FOR ME: The problem has gone again after either uninstalling ICUE and restarting a few times or possibly turning ICUE off and turning EXPO on and off again. Fingers crossed it doesn't come back.
There's a few people who have uninstalled corsair. To be fair.... for me the issue could have been amoury crate AND icue.

There's someone else who had this sort of problem in the forum, you replied to it if you can remember. My old computer is unaffected but it doesn't have anything other than the mouse to face icues cold and fatal touch.
I'm actually past my patience with corsair... there's another issue affecting my corsair mouse where the lighting only works on 33%! and the issue is 6 months old... and they don't have a solution.

Have you configured the OS though? Until you've done that, there's no point troubleshooting this as it likely won't be present once you've set up windows.
Yes I did everything by the book this time and it appears everything is running fine now although I have had a reply from Corsair. They said they are aware of the issue and are taking the blame. Worryingly he is a bit worried my ram SPD info has been corrupted (affected in his words) although I want to double check this as it’s showing ok as far as I can see, so I’m waiting for another reply. I can see there are quite a few people who have indeed had this issue so I’m a bit worried.

I don't understand? The version that caused that issue was replaced an awfully long time ago, that could only have happened if you somehow installed an outdated version that was very quickly pulled from public downloads over 1 year ago? Doesn't make any sense. If your SPD had been corrupted, the system wouldn't boot. Are they saying they've reintroduced a long time fixed bug???
There is a known RAM error bug in the current version of iCue that flags a false error but doesn’t cause any impact. But if it really is an iCue person you’re dealing with they’d know that. Are you sure you’re not being scammed?
what’s leading you to think you’ve got an SPD issue? You can very simply verify it with GPU-z. A corrupt SPD would mean the system failing to boot.
Sounds like someone may be leading you up a garden path

That's why I said "it's showing ok as far as I can see" so I’m waiting for another reply, I repeated everything as clearly as I could because it seemed a bit extreme when things had been working ok for a full day (like you just said but you know more as to why). Ok, so he definitely didn't read the part where I said it was working after I uninstalled Icue? but that should be clarified when he reads my email. He responded directly through the Corsair ticket system so.... it did cross my mind about a scam but it makes a lot more sense he simply didn't read the part where I mentioned it had been working fine since I reinstalled and restarted (think I actually restarted twice).

This is extremely difficult as you still haven't answered questions raised at the start.
I'm still not convinced you've actually setup the OS, until that's done, you should expect issues like this, it's not an iCue problem, it's a windows configuration issue triggered by iCue.
That's my guess at this point, there's no reason iCue should cause those issues on a properly configured windows. It's possible you have gone through configuration, but just not responded to let us know, but either way, we're in the dark and it's impossible to give any pointers.

I believe the only thing wrong I did the first time was not checking all the windows updates until they no longer showed and selecting my update times. I tried very hard not to do anything wrong a second time so I hope not.
What sort of configurations would cause issues?
Second time around during the clean reinstall:
- Double checked Bios was correct, EXPO set to off (bios was still up to date)
- I used a brand new Sandisk USB to re-install windows.
- All drives were cleared (probably just needed to clear my windows drive but thought I better be safe, the correct drive was picked.
- After the first failed restart I was distraught obviously and checked everything was in correctly. No luck. I was advised by PC specialist to reset the CMOS then everything was ok so I started again.
- Everything went well. Checked everything was looking normal.
- All windows updates were done until it said fully up to date.
- No optional updates were done as I read in several places it was unnecessary.
- Desired Windows settings were selected.
- All relevant and correct drivers were installed from the amd website, all successful restarts.
- I decided it was safe to start doing things so I turned EXPO on then installed programs so installed Norton, steam and Icue.
- PC went to sleep and didn't come back. Double checked and the problem was back.
- Uninstalled Icue. Restarted and had no issues (Thursday evening).
- I plugged things in other than wired keyboard and mouse (actually just my microphone and wireless aerial thing I think).
This is all the info I think, in the folder below. Strangely I noticed 2 optional updates the other day but there are now none. I defo didn't install them.

Installed the new ram and the computer restarts, sleeps etc fine with iCue installed but it has no twice done the same thing as happened when trying to restart, but it has happened suddenly during use. No signal to monitor, keyboard and mouse off, orange Dram light etc.

It's utterly useless; it only causes issues and slows down the entire system. Delete it ASAP.

As already said, until your windows config is properly setup, installing icue will be expected to cause issues, that's totally normal.
You haven't configured your windows setup to a point where you're ready to install icue.
Norton breaks windows, I'm sure you've had it installed on other systems previously, it's just garbage, and actually REDUCES protection as well as severely hampering performance.
But you're not hearing any of the feedback so we're gonna have to leave you to it.
