My budget is around €2600 roughly give or take and I'm looking to be playing in 1440p 144hz. Should I be swapping the 5070 for a 9070xt?

I think the replies will be limited until you provide the all of the information asked for in the previously linked sticky.

But, to summarise, we need to know:
  • Your MAX budget?
  • Do you have a 1440p/144hz monitor, or are you building with the aim to purchase the monitor at a later date?
  • What uses is it for? Just gaming, a bit of video editing, streaming, animation, LLM/AI/ML training, etc?
  • Do you already have a PC that you're scrapping? If so, can you transfer the Windows licence or SSDs/HDDs across for extra storage?
  • The config link so we can go in and tweak the build (otherwise anyone who wants to suggest changes will have to start from scratch)
  • What country are you in, as there may be a local website/forum that may be more appropriate
To answer your GPU question, I'd go for the more powerful 16GB 9070XT over the 12GB 5070...if the budget's there.

However, there are some sub-optimal choices in the original build which would need to be addressed to give you a balanced, worthwhile system (motherboard, cooler and storage config come to mind).
