cd tray ejects on windows start and coming out of sleep

My new laptop arrived this afternoon (Enigma IV).
I powered it on and when Windows started, the cd/dvd tray ejected.
After I put it into sleep and woke it up, it ejected again.

This is a clean install and nothing has been added or setup yet.
Is this common?
Is there any easy fix?

Thanks.
I have started using Autoruns to see if I can find the cause.
But, I just powered off because I needed to pop out. When I powered on, I noticed the cd tray eject before Windows had started to load - the Boot sequence is HDD, CD, Network

Also, the video is showing occasional corrupt information so this might be a return to PC Specialists .... unless I can find a genuine cause. (only got it a few hours ago!)

I get a lot of these ...

Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 296.01 stopped
responding and has succesfully recovered

... just after each session of video corruption.

An update or clean install of the graphics driver can sometimes fix that issue, but best give PCS a call anyway as you have the optical drive problem as well.

I thought it might be video drivers but I get screen flickering during boot up :(
I have logged with PCS and will call them tomorrow.

Being RMA'd

Excellent response time to the call and all being handled hassle free .... good customer service.

CD tray could be wrong firmware.
Graphics corruption could be lose cables. I wonder if it may be more serious.
I was offered the chance to open the case and check cables but I would prefer a full check so it's going back.
