Clueless mum, £400 budget what's the best build for the money?

Hi my daughters (7&8) want a gaming Pc for Christmas.
My budget is £400 that's for the pc only. I can get the monitor etc separately. I know it's modest for a gaming pc but it's the best I can do.

They mainly want it to play sims 4, roblox and do some homework etc.

I'll be so grateful if someone could help because it's double dutch to me. 😂

I think she will need a dedicated gpu. Unless they want to run less then 1080p.

As far as I can tell, anything better than a Core 2 Duo with IG will run The Sims 4 at 1080p with maybe 30-40fps...which, for young children should be fine

Thank you for that I will take a look. I do think I need a disk reader for some of their games too so I'll have to play about a bit to find one that let's me. But this is exactly what I needed to know cheers.
