Hi guys! Firstly, my previous crashing issue has never happened since, so thankfully that one is in the rear view mirror.
My H500M case has some great air flow and the liquid cooling keeps all my components <70c which is brilliant. However, about a month ago, the front fan started rattling on start up and under load. The rattle sounds A LOT like the fan blades are hitting against the mesh at the front, but im not completely sure.
My explanation is horrible, so I've attached a video (hosted in google drive) that does a better job of showing the problem:
Things I've noticed:
* Rattling happens on start up and as soon as the PC has booted, it fades out.
* Rattling happens under load
If I wedge my copy of Paolo Coelho's "The Alchemist" under the right hand side of the PC (yes, a low tech solution!!), it reduces the rattling significantly. It still rattles a little on startup but no longer under load. I've been all around the case to make sure everything is clicked in place and nothing is out of place as far as I can tell.
Wondering if anyone has any wisdom for me? Thanks.
PS: Excuse the mess of my house, I'm in the middle of moving and furniture has been moved that should never have been moved. :'(
Edit: Full specs in case it's helpful:
