Is this a PCSpecialist computer? Can you post your full specs from the order page?My cpu temp is 60/70 degrees while idle with no tabs open. I’m a little concerned as it should be lower, but I’m not sure what to do.

Ok I’ll wait for his replyLooks like its the most basic CPU cooler so that maybe one area you need to look at upgrading.
Spydertracks will put you in the right direction and if anything else maybe causing the high temps.
It’s a shame you didn’t take the advice given, that case isn’t really suitable, but certainly shouldn’t be causing such high temps.Ok I’ll wait for his reply

What are you using to read temps and which value is reading 70?
I wouldn't trust CAM with Ryzen. Personally, I would first uninstall it as it can conflict with temp readings.Nzxt cam
My cpu temp is the one that is high. While idle it moves between 58 and 71 degrees. Low 60 mainly
I downloaded the link you’ve sent. Now the Average temp while idle is varying from 58/62 degrees so it’s not hitting 70 or the late 60’s now.I wouldn't trust CAM with Ryzen. Personally, I would first uninstall it as it can conflict with temp readings.
Then install Ryzen Master https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/ryzen-master and just verify what it's saying.
That's still a lot higher than I would like.I downloaded the link you’ve sent. Now the Average temp while idle is varying from 58/62 degrees so it’s not hitting 70 or the late 60’s now.
It’s now settled into the low 50’s and late 40 when idle as I have changed what the pc was placed on. Are these temps fine? That's still a lot higher than I would like.
If you go into task manager and sort by CPU usage, is there anything using a lot of CPU power? On a new system, there will be a lot going on in the background while it installs updates and configures windows properly, so even if you're not doing anything, it may be working away quite hard.
Much better, you need to test them under load. It’s now settled into the low 50’s and late 40 when idle as I have changed what the pc was placed on. Are these temps fine?
While gaming it stays in the 60/70 region on some games it goes into 70’sMuch better, you need to test them under load.
