I cannot fault DELL's customer support at all. The few times I have used them they have been spot on.

The last time was when the plastic screen surround of my laptop cracked. I only had a return to base warranty but as I was going on holiday in the next few days and wanted to take the laptop with me they sent out an engineer the day before I was due to depart and fixed it there and then.

Was it luck? Either way they were not obliged to do what they did and could have easily said to me that I would have to send it to them.

Its a shame as I like Dell PCs but as they have discontinued their XPS range I have no reason to go back to them.

Still, one less DELL customer = 1 more PCS customer
