Really? In which case it's possible these issues are driver related and as much as I trust PCS, since there seem to be issues with this laptop, it might be best to get them from Clevo.

I would agree, the Clevo ones should be newer hopefully.

Yeah I'm still not satisfied and since then I made a few other speedtests and my write speeds are back to the 0.5 mb/s area... I don't know if I can blame the drivers, I mean, the only driver I can think of that has a relation to the hard drive is the chipset/management engine drivers, GPU and touchpad won't influence my speed. The reason why I'm ruling out drivers in my head is that I get really inconsistent speeds, like I achieved 1.5 mbps random write with these drivers, and now with the very same drivers I have 0.4-0.5. This isn't normal at all. Caching works though because Windows starts quicker. See what PC Specialists say. Thanks for all the help guys, as a last resort, I'll try the Clevo drivers, if it's not much trouble can you send me a link to the place? Not sure where I'm supposed to be looking for these.
