Defiance lll 15 inch (Clevo P650RS-G) screen options 3K or 4k resolution?

Could someone help me with this query?

This particular model (Clevo P650RS-G) has either 1080p or 4K as screen options on every other website including Clevo's own website. How is it that PC Specialist have this model with a 3K option and not the 4K screen like everywhere else?

I'm not sure what is happening here - my Defiant II had a 4k option and I went for it. In hindsight, even though Windows 10 handles high DPI scaling better than previous versions, it's still, at times, lamentable and I've spent an inordinate amount of time dicking around finding workarounds for applications. Examples include VLC media player (video screen is fine, controls were tiny) and Steam - all the overlay messages were so small as to be absolutely unreadable.

I am not landing all of this solely on Windows, but OS X handles scaling so much more seamlessly so I struggle to see why MS can't do the same.

Also, I much prefer a non-reflective matte screen so personally, I'd stick with either the 1080 or 3K panels, with a leaning towards the former.
