Hey I have started playing on FiveM. I thought my PC was half decent but loading in seems to be mega slow - especially compared to some low tier streamers?

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core processor 3.40GHz
Installed RAM: 23.0GB (2600MHz)
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT (20GB)
Storage: 932GB HDD ST1000DM010-2EP102, 1.86TB SSD Kingston SKC3000D2048G, 466GB SSD WDS500G3X0C-00SJG0
Motherboard: B450 Aorus Elite

Do you need to know anything else to help me out?

TIA for any assistance

I am unsure, can try to ask a friend. Any suggestion on a new fan if not? Are they easy to fit?
Your case can support a 240/280mm AIO on top, which should suffice for that CPU.

Here are some suggestion based on how much you want to spend on it.

1) Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 (budget)

2) Corsair Titan 280 RX (premium)

Thank you! I hope I can youtube how to fit it. I will go for premium.

I assume the rest of my build you'd say is good and not worthy of upgrading yet?

AM4 is a dead platform, and the only ''CPU upgrade'' available is a 5700X3D, which is not worthy in my opinion.

Just for a visual comparison, 5700x3d CAN be quite a significant increase in certain games, in others very little, on average around 20%. The area that can sometimes make more of a visual improvement is the 1% lows, raising them higher can lead to an overall smoother gameplay experience.

These are some quite heavy games which is why the averages may look quite low at 1080p with a 4090, but these styles of games are becoming more normal so it's a good average to look at

It's down to you weather or not that's worth it, I would personally do the upgrades suggested and settle in with that until you're accustomed to it, and then evaluate weather the CPU is worth it.

I fully agree, especially considering we don't know what resolution the OP is playing at.
Given the 7900XT, most likely is going to play at 1440p at least, I myself would not invest £200 for a non-reusable component.

I’d agree personally, it just can’t be 1080p with a 7900xt or the Hz Police would have notified the western hemisphere! It’s not going to make any kind of more meaningful improvement above 1080p

To the OP, if you werent aware, as you scale up resolution, the game load is more transferred to the GPU away from the cpu, so once you’re at 4K, the difference between even a 6core cpu and say a 16core is very minimal. There are outliers like simulation games, or some games like Ark or Cyberpunk where you can have a lot of NPCs that rely on CPU, or strategy games like civilisation. Those still require more capable cpus as higher res because of the quite complex realtime calculations constantly happening.
