I purchased an Optimus V 13" via PCworld - annoyingly to find out it was cheaper direct at PCS!!!

Anyway, headphone socket not working. No sound.
Seems to be common problem by the number of forum threads all saying the same thing (not great for confidence...)

After following forumadvice and dloading the latest audio drivers direct from Clevo website, then installing, I have now lost the headphone socket all together in device manager and all audio settings!!!

Something very much not right here.

So, I need to get the drivers that were installed on the laptop by PCS as new, but cannot find a dload link on my account on this site.
Prob as i purchased the laptop elsewhere...

Any advice?
Sucks having a nice new laptop that doesnt work properly.

I wouldn't be sure where to find the drivers elsewhere - however I'm sure if you give PCS a call they can talk you through it or maybe even send them to you, after all the Optimus is a PCS laptop :)

As steaky says, if you call them up, they'll create an account for you with relevant drivers in the download section.

or you could get the actual model number for this laptop, so clevo something.... then go to clevo site and find the drivers :) but PCS support would be the better option, just giving a second option.
