Thinking about using 7970's in crossfire on my new build what can I expect apart from a hole in my wallet? I have been told when they kick in it will be quite noisy is this bearable? my present system is two 8800gtx in SLI and they are a bit on the loud side probably worse now than when they were new. I will be hooking them up to my bravia in the front room and will mostly game with a headset in the evenings but will play over my 5.1 system during the day will the sound be bearable? (I will be playing Crysis, BF3 and Skyrim):walkman:

with 2 of them you'll barely hear it as they'll be running at half of their max potential, unless you ar eusing triple monitor

you would only need a single 7970 for single monitor atm so id just stick with that and when you need another one, the price will be very low
