Entry level GPU's?

The 5600X is out of stock because it's the latest tech. I wouldn't with anything other than a 5000 series AMD now as they are significantly better with both core frequency and IPC. You won't need the cooler with the 5600X though, or the aftermarket paste.

You are at the mercy of stock and popularity at the moment. Everyone is clambering for the latest tech. I would definitely hold off and get something more meaningful.

The 3060Ti is a great GPU though. Quite expensive IMO, but it's a great card. You could also consider the 6800 GPU from AMD. Not sure on the price difference, but it's a level up again (With the 4k TV in mind).
Just on this, as the 360ti is a consideration for my oldest boy in jan/feb to move into 1440 gaming, it does seem a little expensive. Do we know/think that later in 2021 there will be cheaper 1660 options - non ti/Super etc? just feels that this GPU is out on it's own at the moment in pricing/spec/value? Any thoughts welcome. I might create a new thread if this is hijacking this one (That PC looks great BTW ! :) )

There are no rumours of GTX cards at all.

They've suggested there could be a 3050ti and possibly even a 3050, but nothing below that.

Hmm, cheers.
Looks like a 3060ti is a good choice then , and hence the price. They have found a nice little niche.
