First attempt at a spec

Hi all,

Ive never owned a desktop before (have always gone for very high spec laptops), but now Im travelling less I would appreciate your thoughts on this. My usage will be gaming and a very processor hungry trading and analysis package (hence the i7).

Are you planning to overclock your CPU? I would get a cheaper motherboard and a 120hz monitor or higher resolution to push the gtx 780 ti.

No, no overclocking I dont think. I dont really understand the hz issue on the monitor

You have a very high end GPU and usually monitors have a refresh rate of 60hz so you wouldn't benefit much if you get more than 60fps.
