My mum has asked me to look for a pc for my 11 year old brother as I know a little about it.
It will be used for gaming on a 1080 monitor does it look a pretty standard build she's set a budget of 850-900 but I'm.struggling to know what to downgrade to achieve this.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately mate hardware prices are at an all time high right now. £100 just doesn't go far, I'd honestly recommend waiting until there is a higher budget. Do you know what games he plays and I can try to put something together with those in mind for a cheap as possible

Yeah this is the problem, I brought mine in Feb its crazy how much prices have rocketed since then, he will play new world warzone and rainbow six so nothing to demanding but my biggest issue is trying to explain to my mum why he needs a better spec computer🤣 otherwise he may as well keep his xbox. If you could that would be brilliant as I didn't research lower specs pcs as I went high end on mine and don't want my brother having a potato from my recommendation haha

Mate New World and Warzone are pretty demanding I wouldn't be able to recommend anything at that price point.

At an absolute minimum this is where I'd go. Honestly though you'd be better saving a bit more to improve in some areas especially the PSU here
