Forgot computers log in password!

I don't have any USB sticks or Cds is their anyway i can get into the computer agian?


Do i have to do a full system restore, and install windows?

um its a shame you don't have any portable devices, because there's a password cracking program you can use

the only other thing i can think of is sadly reformatting the drive...

How do i reformat the drive?

Do i put in the Windows 7 CD and follow onscreen instructions?

so im guessing you dont mind reformatting

you need to restart your PC, then it should come up with what button to press to enter the BIOS press that button (usually between F1-F12)

then find the hard drive areas and find that one then somehow reformat it, i dont know what your BIOS is like, and ive only looked through mine a couple of times

Thanks guys, only things i installed was steam, a few games and patches for them.

But still having trouble on formatting the computer.
ive had alook in the bios but its still confused.com to me

My Bios screen looks very diffrent, to anything i have seen before, looks futureistic but i inserted the Windows CD, restarted the computer, went into Bios.
exited bios,

then boot from CD came up.

Then i clicked advanced, then advanced agian, clicked Delete on both options
then clicked my main one with the highest memory,

clicked install

i think this will sort it.. hopefully

Got it sorted, but it also deleted the software that came with the PC such as bulldog anti virus

Ive installed AVG just now, but do you think i will need to install the latest drivers? for graphics card etc

you dont need that AV trial shouldnt of even added it, it will just clog up your hard drive even if you uninstall it, especially as you would have just got a free AV anyway, also cant recommend enough Malwarebytes Anti Malware alongside AVG
