Game crashes (nvlddmkm)

Hey. Lately I face some game freezes/crashes. It freezes in WoW when game is minimized sometimes and crashes in Path of Exile (even in game is maximized). In Event Viewer I found the following error:

The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3
Error occurred on GPUID: 100

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

Tried DDUing nvidia deivers (in safe mode) and reinstalling latest one from scratch - didn't help. Disabled hardware acceleration in both browser and discord, also disabled Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling - didn't help, so I'm kinda lost at this point. Here's my PC spec:

There are known issues with the latest Nvidia drivers (well, almost all since January 2025), so try DDU'ing it again. but install the December 2024 drivers (566.36) instead.

There should be no adverse effect on anything but the most recently released titles.

Installed 566.36, didn't have crashes in PoE yesterday for the whole day (maybe I got lucky, idk) but got same issues with WoW today and found the same nvlddmkm errors in Event Log. Any ideas?

I did hope I won't need to 😅
Just wondering, did you use DDU to clean display drivers before installing 566.36?

That would definitely be worth doing, run it in safe mode

Have you got any overclock or PBO applied on either GPU or CPU?

I used DDU to uninstall nvidia drivers in safe mode, didn't touch any other drivers, then loaded into normal mode and installed 566.36. I do have PBO Enhancement and DOCP turned on in BIOS, didn't change anything in Advanced Mode tho. I have enabled those recently, crashes were an issue before I've enabled it

Disable those just for testing initially, I’m not sure the PCS cooler would be up to sufficient cooling with PBO

The other thing is since it’s only happening in WoW repair the local files for the game
