I'll admit I rushed that post.

It's a desktop and it's nothing to do with whether or not my PC can run it. It's not a BSOD, though I did have one earlier on today.

It just freezes sometimes and crashed me to the desktop for no apparent reason.

As for the temps the GPU is fine though I haven't a clue how to check the CPU temp. I cannot imagine it being that though, because I can boot the game straight back up and play for an hour unperturbed.

Actually, a lot of things are crashing on me. Windows live crashed; Sony Vegas Pro crashed; Desktop gadgets crash. By crash I mean they end up saying "x is not responding", so I have to close them.

As I said in your other thread I think it could be a ram problem, try running memtest as I suggested.Instructions here,
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
If you get errors on first test I would leave it at that as I'm pretty sure your kingston memory is a kit and PCS will replace the full kit if they agree that the ram is the problem.
Also have you tried scandisk as suggested by Buzz.

Alright thanks. I checked the instructions and because it takes several hours I think I'll try it tonight before I go to bed. I awoke to another BSOD thing on my desktop (the details thing) and I checked where the minidump files are and it told me that there was one on the 23rd, one on the 22nd, and one on the 14th. Now, I only got my PC on Tuesday, which was the 18th. So does that means it blue screened when they were testing it? I will attach the files here because I don't understand how to open them or anything.

I keep trying to attach the minidump files but I cannot even find them in the attachment folder. Anyone know?

You can:
- check Event Viewer logs for more information,
- as advised check your RAM against any problems (most likely the culprit) - do what vanthus suggested, or alternatively download Ubuntu LiveCD it will also have memtest option. Simply saying even if you dont use Ubuntu, you should have a disk available - trust me it will come handy sooner or later.
- use HDTune to check if you have any hard drive errors (if not RAM that would be my best call)
- try different PSU

Also you can use Ubuntu LiveCD to find out if it's not just a "Windows issue".

ps. To easily check temp. Install HWmonitor (just google it).. then run it, check temps and start playing some games. After a while go back to desktop and check HWmonitor again. It will tell you max, min and current temp.

Guys I just read through this memtest thing and by the looks of it I am going to have to spend as much as an entire day and night on this.

I start back on Tuesday and I just don't have the time. Even if I do that it won't even necessarily fix the issue.

Due to a lot of family problems I had to move out over the summer and I am having to basically go from living at home to paying for all my stuff while living full time at Uni and whatnot. Not only this but due to the entire amount of things I have to do I just don't have the time, the patience, the money, nor the knowhow to fix all of this.

Can someone talk me through the refund procedure?

It wont really take all that long to run the first test with memtest, you can just start it then go about your business,or at least phone PCS and give them a chance to fix your problems, they are very good at it.

Last time I called them the waiting list thing said 15 minutes. I was waiting for 20 minutes and I wasted all 4.50 I had left of my call time.

Uhmm.. sorry not sure how to help you then. If it's a new PC you just bought and it is unstable from very beginning = best advise is to ring PC Specialist directly.

Mind, not all issues are hardware related. You installed anything recently? Any drivers update? There really is a wide number of things that can contribute to your PC behaviour. Things we mentioned above are there to rule out some "common" issues.

I see what vanthus means by kit, now - I won't have to find out which module is faulty, just that any of them might be.

And as harsh as Vanthus' above message is, he's right - I need to be less self pitying. So I'll run about running this memtest and we'll see what happens.

I tried the memtest thing and it did not boot from the USB. So I booted it up in the bios, as I was told by the site, and I switched the usb with the HDD for boot priority, saved the settings and restarted. Now it will not boot at all with the usb. I messaged the tech support earlier, so we'll see how it goes.

It seems like anything you try with the PC just doesn't work the way it should,I think your best bet would be to phone PCS,to save having to hang on too long you can check waiting times here.
http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/call-waiting/
they will sort it out one way or another even if it means an rma.

could even be a latest update for the game causing the bsod , its happened before with Sniper elite v2 , update kept crashing the game , then it was fixed with a later update - try some other games out & see what happens
