Hi guys new here, i havent had pc since the mid 90s so i would say ive im back to square one when it comes to what is best now ha.

Anyway im looking for a pc that can play games and do some light video editing for my wifes youtube videos.

Ill be looking at a 1080p 144hz monitor if you have any suggestions on monitors that would be great thanks.

A decent 1080p 144hz monitor I have is the MSI Optix G24 Series from Currys for £170. I recommend you get atleast 3200mhz of RAM for an AMD based build since AMD works best with quicker RAM, and you may need to get a better cooler as the 5600x is a tougher CPU to handle, since its a new gen with more cores and threads.

This looks like a great build for 1080p 144hz! I agree with the comments in the two posts above, I'd also change the TMx to a RMx if the budget allows as there were some issues with the RMx units last year and better to be safe than sorry

If i changed the cpu to a 3600 would the lower speed ram and stock cooler be ok?

Or is it worth the extra now so its one less thing to upgrade further down the line like when you can actually get a 30 series gpu ha.

I was looking to keep the budget around £1500 with a monitor.

With this build hopefully it should be good enough for pc exclusive games like valheim, etc. And good enough for video editing.

And i should only have to upgrade my gpu when they become readily available?

Looks good! I'd change the PCS cooler to the Cooler Master Master Liquid 240 AIO, I believe it's cheaper and will do a way better job. Also how do people keep on getting free builds 😂 (check the price)

Yes thats right like i said i wont be playing big graphical games on it as ive got ps5 but once a better gpu comes available ill make the switch.

Just really need it now for video editing and if im right the gpu doesnt really matter that much just the cpu and ram.
