Was wondering what y'all thought of this build for the above purposes. I'm a Twitch streamer who, whilst I spend a lot of time streaming, I don't stream modern AAA titles, so cutting-edge graphics are not a requirement for me. I intend to use my current graphics card, the GTX 970 in this system and believe there's no value in buying a new graphics card due to my not streaming any particularly modern games, and being on a 1080p system. There's about £100 of headroom here for what I would like to consider a max budget, so any tweaks you would recommend?

Go for the Aus X570-PLUS as it's only a little more expensive and, despite what PCS say, it actually has USB 3.2 Gen 2 - unlike the gigabyte board which apparently does not

Sure, though I'm not sure how quiet the system will be overall with that case. I'm sure it won't be awful, but wouldn't be as quiet as a Fractal case perhaps.

The spec seems sound.

Be sure you're happy spending the extra for the R9 over an R7 3700x, and that you'll actually benefit from the extra cores/threads. I suppose it depends on your streaming settings and anything else you have the PC doing at the same time. :)

If you're buying the top end CPU, there's an argument for splashing out the extra £50 or whatever it is at the moment for the faster RAM (3600MHz).

Currently my video encoder for streaming is the NVIDIA NVENC encoder, but I only use this now because my current CPU (4790k) is incapable of handling video encoding simultaneously to recording, running a game and having everything else going in the background. If it would yield a tangible increase in video quality, I would prefer to use the CPU for encoding and change the presets for higher quality.

Yes, what I mean is that you would want to be confident the R9 was necessary to achieve what you were looking for versus the R7 3700x :)
