Gaming PC to pair with a Samsung G9 Odyssey

Hi guys,

I have placed an order for a PC to be used predominantly for gaming. High quality visuals (4k) with a high frame rate that will last me for 2 / 3 years without having to upgrade any components. My budget is around the £3k mark without the Odyssey. I've made a few changes since I've ordered after reading some of the recommendations that have been made to other people's orders. This will be my first PC in about 20 years ! So I'm a little out of touch with the latest components. I guess my main question is over the graphics card. i have paid approx £190 extra for the Asus Rog Strix GEFORCE RTX 3080 ... I have based this on some video reviews I have seen showing increased performance over the Nvidia RTX 3080 .. and also I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get delivery by Christmas ? Any thoughts on my build would be appreciated

Looks absolutely perfect to me. I think the STRIX is warranted at this time, just because it is a known entity and a first class card. The extra money just guarantees high performance and some peace of mind on the brand etc.

A dream build that you should be very happy with. Set up with the G9 will have me green with envy though
