GPU problems

Hi. so, when i'm playing a game, if my GPU is under 100% load i get about 50-60FPS.
but today i booted up my computer and i'm getting 23 FPS, 50% load, and fans as loud as ever.
the power setting in CCC is ***'d up, if I set it to Performance it just goes back to Quiet no matter what i do.
i reinstalled the app but it didnt help.

I removed CCC and restarted the computer for it to give me back the performance. Is CCC broken?

It’s probably outdated and needs a newer version. Latest available can be got from www.clevo.com.tw

Not bad as such...just that you can never be sure how up-to-date it is (or if it's even the right one for your system)...always better to go through the manufacturer's website if possible

Ah, okay....I didn't think something on Windows store would be that bad

Most of the windows store apps aren't particularly good compared to the x86 counterparts, always go with a proper app if you can and avoid windows store apps.

I didn't even know that Clevo produced any UWP apps. I just took a look at the "Control Center 3.0" app in the Microsoft Store, it has a reviewer rating of 1 based on 5 reviews. All of the four reviews posted on there say that it doesn't work. I'm also not completely convinced that this is a genuine Clevo app because the Privacy Policy uses the name Clevo Co, whereas Clevo just call themselves "Clevo" and the contact email address is on Hotmail!!

I did wonder if it was clevo official, seems strange that they would take the time to develop on what is essentially a dead platform.

Edit: I've actually reported it to MS just in case, worst comes to the worst they confirm it is legit.

Anyone who's installed this, I would seriously consider reinstalling windows from scratch.

I was recommended to get this app from a PCS telephone guy, when I wanted to change the lighting on the keyboard and cpuldnt find an app to do it he suggested i download it. yikes
