graphics cards in sli underperforming (being beaten by x1 gtx260 !!

Just had a thought after seeing other peoples pics showing off their machines, I dont think mine has an sli bridge. My mate was pointing out all the parts to me when it arrived and we both cannot remember seeing a bridge ? is it possible one was not connected ? ill check later and contact pcs if not visable.

It's only a small strip and it will be at the end nearest the back of the PC's case. It's possible that you've not noticed it because the ones supplied by Asus that are included with your motherboard are very neat - no excess length so you don't get that loop of spare cable sticking up like you do with some bridges.

If it's not fitted, check the Welcome Box that came with the PC - I received mine in the box as it wasn't needed during the build.

Thanks yeah I'll check it out, I'm pretty sure there was something in the welcome pack but just assumed it was a spare part, it can only mean good news if not connected as this would definitely cause performance issues, gotta wait 7 hours now b4 I can check

If it isn't connected will the pc acknowledged the bridge or does it think ones there already?

That board comes with two SLI straps - one of them is for triple cards. Maybe you saw that one.

Yeah correctamondo, the bridge is there, it has quite a loop on it actually just seen on nvidia that they are soon opening a site dedicated to the gtx series with guides, drivers basically everything to do with gtx cards should be good
