Have I made a mistake?

That’s a far better case. If you can I’d push for the 4000d Frame which is the best value case on the market currently while also being an excellent performer.

It can swap out almost any component including the IO panel so if there’s a new version of USB C released that future motherboards support and you wanted to keep the same case, you could just swap it out to the more modern one, or good if you get any damage, just replace the panel or module

You could reduce the cooler to the 240 if you wanted to balance the budget a bit better
Thanks for your help. I've amended the order to a Corsair 4000D. The builder initially threw up a flag that the case, graphics card and 360 cooler wouldn't fit but according to PCS it fitted on the builder on his end

Make sure it's the Frame and not the old 4000d
I've had to change again. I was a bit skeptical about the sales team saying it would fit so contacted tech support. They agreed with me that the 360 cooler and GPU would not fit in the 4000D. The 360 would have to be mounted on the front, which would interfere with the GPU. so I've changed to the 3500X so better airflow than the Lumin

Confusing and stressful all this

Frame 4000D RS will take those components no problem, not sure why they would suggest otherwise. 4000D could be different though, but you don't want that case when the RS Frame is available.

Did try to state that but think it was misunderstood

The Frame 4000d is a much better case than the 3500x for not much more cash

If you are saving £110 by transferring your current OS license, you can choose a 6500X (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-6500x/8.html) that is available or use the ''send in your own case'' and find a Frame 4000D (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-frame-4000d/8.html) or a Frame 4000D RS ARGB (https://gamersnexus.net/cases/corsair-remembered-how-make-case-frame-4000d-rs-argb-review) elsewhere.
