How to install AMD Adrenaline Driver?

Hi,

I’ve just ordered a new PC with a Sapphire Nitro+ RX5700XT graphics card from PC Specialist.

I’m unsure how the PC will be set up when it arrives. I’m assuming the card will be physically installed and running a Windows driver? Will this be the case?

If so, will I need to uninstall the Windows driver before installing AMD’s Adrenalin driver or can the Adrenalin driver be installed over the top of the Windows driver?

If the Windows driver needs uninstalling first, how should this be done and will the graphics card work between drivers?

Assuming I reformatted the drive and performed a clean install at some point, how would this work? Would Windows install it’s own drivers before I got to install the full AMD Adrenalin 2020? If so, how should I deal with that?

Does anyone know whether PC Specialist PCs come free of bloatware and trial software?

PCS PC’s have zero bloatware and come fully configured.

If you wanted to clean install, you let windows find all drivers apart from Graphics which you download from nvidia/AMD.

PCS PCs contain no bloatware other than any trial versions you select at order time.

It will find basic graphics drivers, but you’d want the full package which comes with control panel etc.
