How's this looking for a build?

Case CORSAIR 3000D AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Eight Core CPU (Up to 5.2GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5)
Motherboard ASUS® TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7)
Memory 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2 x 16GB)
Graphics Card 16GB ZOTAC GEFORCE RTX 5070 Ti SOLID SFF - HDMI, 3 x DP
1st M.2 SSD Drive 256GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (3200 MB/R, 2700 MB/W)
2nd M.2 SSD Drive 2TB CRUCIAL P310 GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7100MB/sR, 6000MB/sW)
Power Supply CORSAIR 750W CX SERIES™ CX-750
Existing monitor - Asus PV279Q, 1440p, 165hz refresh rate. No plans to change this any time soon.

No operating system as I can transfer from my current PC, I already have a digital licence. Won't be using the PC for streaming, video editing etc, just gaming. The quote for this build is a few quid over £2k. Happy enough with this budget but open to listening to suggestions if there are improvements to be had, especially in the CPU/GPU region.

Currently have an i5 9600k, 2070 super, 16GB of RAM so this isn't going to be an incremental upgrade and I want to be sure I'm doing it right.

You'll need to post your FULL spec (all the way down to the bottom, including price & link, as detailed below) in order for us to tweak/adjust the build.

But if it's purely gaming, then you'll want a better PSU (ATX3.1 spec and fully modular), and a fast Gen 4 512GB or 1TB SSD for the boot/apps/game launcher drive. Secondary drive size is personal preference depending on the size of your games library. (I'd avoid any PCS-branded components, as they're intended for budget builds really).

Have made a few tweaks for higher quality, better value components, but have unfortunately increased the cost by about 6%...I'll explain the choices in the config below.

Case
CORSAIR FRAME 4000D RS ARGB MODULAR - much better case for very slightly more cash (better as it's fully modular / customisable so you can reconfigure the internals/externals as your usage/components change; has 3 Corsair RS fans as standard - which would cost you £50 on their own)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Eight Core CPU (Up to 5.2GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5) - no change, best gaming CPU out there
Motherboard
GIGABYTE B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI 7 (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7) - same chipset, but higher tier motherboard
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2 x 16GB) - no change, sweet spot for AMD AM5 CPUs
Graphics Card
16GB SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON™ RX 9070 XT GAMING - 2 x HDMI, 2 x DP - equal raw performance to the 5070Ti, but better FPS per £ than the more expensive 5070Ti (see rankings in graphic below)...can be swapped back to the 5070Ti for +£93 if Nvidia technologies (RT, MFG, etc.) are more important than raw FPS
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB CORSAIR ELITE MP600 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (up to 7000 MB/R, 6200 MB/W) - you want a faster primary drive for the OS/apps/games launchers...and PCS drives are of an unknown brand and historically less reliable
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB CORSAIR CORE XT MP600 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (up to 5000 MB/R, 4400 MB/W) - secondary drive can be slower, but you still want reliability
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ ATX 3.1, MODULAR, CYBENETICS GOLD - this is over what Nvidia / AMD suggest for this level of GPU, but it gives you room in 3/5/7 years for a beefier GPU...can swap back to the 850W version to save £24
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
CORSAIR NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB HIGH PERFORMANCE CPU COOLER - overkill for this build, but the 3 x RS120mm fans on this AIO perfectly match the 3 x RS120mm fans included with the case...PCS fans/cooler are another budget/less reliable choice, but could swap to the 240 RS version to save £13
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING

Thanks for the advice. I don't know if it makes any difference but I'm not bothered about any of the RBG stuff as the PC is going to be under my desk anyway so is the RGB case all that necessary? Regarding the 5070ti vs 9070 XT I've seen comments elsewhere that the only real difference is how they handle ray tracing with the 5070ti being significantly better? Is there any room for saving on the cooler as well if the one you have suggested is overkill as you say?

Yes, the 5070Ti has better RT and the latest generation fake frame technology MULTI frame generation technology, but AMD is cheaper...so it really depends on what games you're playing and whether FPS is more important than RT (I have a 4090 and still turn RT off/low in most games as I don't like the performance hit).

The second build has the 5070Ti plus a smaller cooler...and whilst an air cooler (with no RGB) could handle the 9800X3D, PCS don't offer any decent options (the PCS offerings are a bit unreliable)...so it has to be the lower level Corsair cooler...of course the RGB can be disabled!

Both cases have 3 x RS120mm fans included, so similar amounts of RGB (which of course, can be disabled or set to single-colour).
