i7-3610QM Stock, been waiting.

I was told last week you guys were getting stock for i7-3610QM. My laptop has been "built" (2 weeks ago order was placed) so I don't understand because I called and they told me they couldn't start building the laptop till i7-3610QM was in stock. I was also told I'll probably get the laptop today or tomorrow, not looking likely.

I'm really hoping to get the laptop before this long weekend, I've got a ton of work building up and no laptop / computer to do it on!

Can someone please give me a realistic time for when I'll actually get my laptop? (Hopefully before I go away this weekend).

it doesnt prevent the laptop or pc being built if the processor is not avaiable, and by building your laptop in anticipation of the CPU arriving, there will be no other items out of stock when the cpu does arrive as they have been allocated and used to build your laptop.

Current eta for i7-3610qm is lunchtime on thursday. This is the eta from intel. There is massive constraint on this new part so fingers crossed they dont let us down.

I was told it was last Thursday, if it's this Thursday then I won't get my laptop for Friday will I? (testing, hot-room, delivery?) Or will that all happen in one day. There's a double bank holiday coming up and receiving my laptop before then would be a big plus!

as were we. We can only tell you what info we have at the time, and if intel tell us last thursday then that is what we tell you if you call etc. We have about 100 orders waiting for this processor and it will simply be a case of completing them all when this cpu arrives on thursday. However it is very unlikely that we will be able to dispatch any of them on thursday as they will require installing and testing etc.

I see didn't realise there was such a delay on this processor I just hope it comes sometime ASAP. Thanks for letting me know what was going on.

Yea, I have a similar thing going on with my laptop order and have been waiting on a processor for a few days as my order is stuck in "in Building"
Its the i5-2520M for a Genesis IV.
Now I am in no particular rush to get my laptop as I still have my desktop to work from and I'm not attempting to bother you with frivolous questions because I'm sure you are tremendously busy, but do you expect my processor to arrive along with the i7's in the OP or sooner/later than that, either is fine.
