the comments seem to imply that his graphics card is bottlenecking so Im not sure the results are properly accurate. i7 etc have to be better otherwise they wouldn't waste money developing them

At the minute, nope.

Crysis and Metro33 run at an avg of 60 fps which is more than my monitor can handle.

I only get grief from older games, ie supreme commander with 8 players and 2000 unit count.
