iCUE LINK System Hub

Hi all. I've received the 360 of my new system, trying hard to keep my excitement at bay!

I'm trying to do a bit of homework on all the different parts to keep me busy in the meantime. Can someone advise what these three components are? I'm guessing it's two iCUE LINK System Hubs (maybe the one that came with the case and one that came with the Titan AIO?), but I'm not sure what the smaller box is.

If it is two system hubs, is there a reason for having them both installed, rather than the case fans and the AIO running off a single hub? Is it a case of I've paid for them, so the builder has just installed both for the sake of it?

Thanks in advance!

That smaller item looks like a splitter.

How many & what type of Corsair fans / components do you have in your build?

Some of the cables are a bit short, so it might have been simpler to use 2 hubs and split the cabling that way, rather than trying to stretch/force them to fit (in my case it meant a connector was bent a little too much and came apart in my fingers when I tried to adjust it).

It's just the Titan AIO (3x RX120) and the stock 5000T LX case fans (3x LX120) at the moment, hence why the two hubs + splitter seemed a bit unusual/overkill.

I'll be adding 3x LX120-R and 1x LX120 myself, so I guess I can possibly simplify things a bit by daisy-chaining them then.

Yes, you can usually simplify it a bit...but take note that the longer replacement cables are not available to purchase separately yet, so the splitter may make sense if the small ones are a bit too tight for pretty cable management.

According to Corsair customer services, these extra longer cables have an unknown stoking date...

The fans themselves will just click together if they're all iCUE LINK models.

Thanks Tony. I think the fan 3-pack comes with a long and a short cable, so I'll see what I can cobble together when it arrives.
