Keeping your hard-drivers tidy.

Hi guys, well basically since I've had my Laptop my HDD has become increasingly untidy compared to my SSD (as you can see below) Is there any tips/ways what you do to help me tidy up the secondary driver as it's a complete mess already?

top tip would be to have a folder set as 'downloads' then you can sub divide it into application installers, picture, whatever you download. That way you avoid having random .exe files scattered about not in folders.

Well you SSD is only showing your Program Files folder so I do not know what your root looks like but as above have a downloads folder.
Also the D: looks like it is the contents of a program or image, maybe a recovery drive? The sa, de, fr, en etc folders are language folders, you also have hidden .dll's showing you can hide and some uninstall files as well as some downloaded setup files like steamsetup, spotify etc etc.

Did you install something to the D drive root or anything that would create all these folders and files or is the drive a recovery drive? That would be the first thing to look at, then move the setup files for the various programs into a downloaded folder, or delete if there of no use now.
