laptop processors arrived yet?

Hi

I ordered a laptop about 21 days ago and have been waiting for suppliers to get my processor in stock so it can be built, i phoned as i was going to pay extra to upgrade as i could have done with having it sooner but was told that the entire range of laptop processors were out of stock.

is this still the case. If there are any upgrades i can make to speed things up i will do so, i didnt realise it would take this long but understand these things can happen.

Any particular processor in mind. We sell quite a few and we get deliveries daily so it depends on which model you are enquiring about.

I'm going to assume that it is the 3rd gen i7 range that he is referring to, specifically the i7-3610qm. I'm in a similar situation.

I ordered Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) 6MB

Was told it was out of stock, so i phoned to upgrade or whatever but was told that there were no laptop processors in stock at all that i could change to and that there had been a problem with suppliers.

Was this not the case? Can i upgrade? Will this speed things up? Or is there a date youll have this processor?

I only live round the corner, i just want to get this sorted as quick as possible.
