The monitor I'm looking at is here on Amazon. ASUS TUF Gaming VG27BQ. Alternatively I'm open to ordering via PCS, are there any monitors currently in stock that will do a similar job?

Game wise I'm currently playing COD in the main, with a few sports sim titles every now and then. I'll also be video editing, nothing extreme. I'd be looking to game at the highest settings with no distortion or tear. Will the above monitor be suitable?

Power supply - I wanted the 750RMx but the only one available to order now is the 1200 HX.
Storage - My thought behind my choices are, the first 1tb m.2 will be the boot drive. The second m.2 will be for my games and storage.

Thanks for reading and I'm open to any help and advice please :)

Honestly? For a gaming system, liquid cooling like you have specced above is redundant...the system does not get pushed enough to warrant the huge initial expense (not to mention the several hundred pounds needed every year to get the cooling serviced). Cooling at that level is only really needed for how it looks (which still seems very wasteful to me) or for something processing huge amounts of data non-stop...things like that.

However, as I'm not the most expert on this subject, I will leave more in-depth stuff to others. One question though is your maximum budget?

Part of the liquid purchase is for aesthetic reasons and I also want to maintain the loop as a way of getting into liquid cooling. I know it's expensive but for me, it will be worth the outlay.

Max budget is up to 5k. The spec above comes in at £4691

For gaming and a bit of editing that system is extremely wasteful. I wouldn't recommend liquid cooling in the slightest, for any reason...... it's just hassle to be honest.

£3k would be a lavish build for your uses.

The monitor is absolutely fantastic but at this level I would be looking at Super Ultrawide over a standard 1440p screen.

So you'd recommend going down the overclocked route with an AIO and scrapping the custom loop? Are you able to recommend an ultrawide monitor at a similar price point to the VG27BQ please?

A Superwide is nearer £1k, but with the money you're saving on the PC, that will easily cover it and give a far far better experience.

No, I wouldn't recommend an overclocked build at all. Overclocking the AMD chips actually lowers the gaming performance/potential.

You aren't going to get a Super Ultrawide monitor for the same price as a standard one, it's a FAR more expensive outlay...... justified by the experience. It's almost like asking for a Ferrari at a similar price point to a Fiat :D

Could do with a better PSU but none are in stock (the 1200w one is a bit too much)

Thank you for taking the time to advise, really appreciate it.

Made some tweaks. You would want the 3900X over the 3900 for gaming. Removed the OS and bumped up the warranty in line with the original selections.
