Hi all,
thanks for taking the time to look, normally I would try knock something up and just go with it but as I'm looking at a large budget this time I really want to get the most for my money. I'm looking for a decent gaming pc that's gonna be able to handle most new releases on high-max settings.
games I would really like it to run beautifully is Ark: survival evolved, Witcher 3(I know these aren't technically new but they are sat in my steam library waiting to be played xD) possibly No mans sky too.

probably going to go the finance route and looking for about £45-50per month, but higher if its going to be really worth it performance wise.

really appreciate the help! :D

What's that in total? It's easier for users to work out a spec if there's a total budget as the configurator doesn't show it in per-month terms :)

Thanks for the reply, when I click on that one to see if I wanna add any extras like a wireless card or summit the price instantly goes up to just short of 1800 without extras, also is intel and NVidia the way to go or is amd an option? thanks again

You can't ammend a review build without loosing the discount. It would be worth phoning PCs if you want to add things to the order

Intel and nvidia thrash amd in every respect.

If it's only say a minor adjustment such as a wireless card try giving PCS a call and seeing if they will add a wireless card but still with the discount, and paying the regular price for the wireless card. It's always worth a shot. Intel CPUs tend to be more powerful than AMD, however AMD are releasing the Zen series soon which should bring them back into the market for processors. Intel are always reliable to release the best CPUs though, the I7-6700K in the Define X1 is arguably one of the best gaming CPUs for price, with the highest base clock speed of all the processors. A good way to compare processors is to use this site :
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-6700K/3502vs3502
You can change around what processors are compared, and you get given information about value for money, which performs better in certain categories and each is ranked.
As for AMD in general I've heard the components are significantly louder than Intel/NVidia. From what I can gather AMD is best when you want to cut down costs of your PC but still get good results, or good bang for buck. However in a 1500 price range PC you should always be aiming to get at least a GTX 1060+ in your build.

what kind of build would I be looking at if I increased my budget to 1700-1800? really want a pc that's gonna last a while without needed any major upgrades cos this is gonna be the last big spend for me lol

The same as the Fractal X1. It's £1,779.00's worth of PC for £1499. If you specced a gaming PC up to £1800 you'd end up with roughly the same thing (17 6700k OCed, GTX 1080, 16gb fast RAM, SSD+HDD, etc etc).

I'd suggest going with the Fractal X1 and either getting PCS to add a wifi card in for the appropriate charge if they're willing or just buying one and plugging it in yourself / using a powerline adapter or whatever.
