Missing RGB Controller

Afternoon all. I bought a ex display Vortex STS 2070s from Currys at the end of April last year. Today I have found out that it should of come with an RGB controller. There was no RGB controller with the PC when I collected it. I will contact the Currys store that I bought it from but its doubtful that they will still have it. I have contacted PC Specialist support who say that they cannot help and have advised that generic RGB controllers are available to purchase everywhere. My question is this. Are they universal? If I buy a random RGB controller how do I know it will control the lights on my particular PC? Thanks in a anticipation.

It's Currys responsibility to make that right for you as it was their sale. I would go back to them

I absolutely will go back to them first thing tomorrow morning. I guess I'm just planning ahead. I've worked in retail in the past and I know how difficult it will be to get this resolved. Looking for advice about universal RGB controllers that will work with my PC.

You'd first need to register the PC with pcs, this will then give you an online account with all your specs, we'll need the full specs to be able to identify which RGB components there are and which controllers they run off
