I currently have an Asus motherboard and just wondered if they were particularly good or if there was something they did others don't. My previous motherboard was a Gigabyte and it actually melted within a year even with a hefty cooling system.
No problems with the Asus yet...![]()

Wow.... Thats really freaky!!
...Wont ever be buying one of those then!
I guess the thing to take from that is make sure you have proper ventilation, a decent cooler and keep your fans clean!!
With my old desktop i used to take the side panels off every couple of months and hoover out all the dust (disconnect the power first obviously and be delicate with it!)
It always ran better after a good bit of suction!
Oh great... The keyboard that I've ordered is a Gigabyte one... It's going to melt.
that the mechanical one with the blue lighting?
Yea it isThe Aivia Osmium, should be coming today or tomorrow. Life would have been much easier if there were more boards with red switches and blue lighting.
enjoy mate, oh and do post pictures... please ....![]()
but yeah I couldnt find a single kb with red lighting and blue switches... but as it turns out i quite like the red switches
