My first built Desktop PC

Hello guys, hope everyone is doing great !

I'm new here and I want to be reassured a bit. I'm French so sorry in advance for my pity English ! I placed an order few days ago as I was fed up with my previous laptop (overheating, sluttering in games...). I will use mostly my new PC for gaming, a bit of streaming and financial programming.

I've purchased a Desktop Pc on PCSPecialist 14 days ago and from that day I check the forum everyday and it seems by reading reviews that Processor from AMD are better than the ones from Intel ? Did I make a bad choice by choosing an Intel i7 10700K ?
I have read the Case PCS P209 RGB MID TOWER CASE is not efficient for a good air circulation as well... It's my first built PC so maybe I'm stressed for nothing.
I'm using a 144hz 1080p gaming monitor for now (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07KJ67Y3K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but I really want to get 2 screens so I'm wondering whether I should buy a new 1440p monitor or using an old monitor I have at home I don't use ?

Moreover I really found the delivery time very fast! Only 14 days for a 3070 !!!! That's amazing I didn't expect it that fast

Ideally an AMD build would have given you better value for you money, however thats not an issue at this point

Given the GPU you've got I will definitely recommend you getting a 1440p 144htz monitor at least to make the most of it. You can use the 1080p screen as a second monitor for everything else other than gaming Enjoy your PC

14 days from start to finish only - thats impressive. The 3070 may be a less demanding GPU compared to the other 3000 series cards. Dont be worried about your build. Yes, AMD is better for its price to value, however that shouldnt indicate that your build is bad. Intel is still a good choice to go for, however when in comparison towards AMD, you can see the differences they have and why many think AMD is better. As long as you’re not exceeding above 90 degrees on certain units such as your CPU, you shouldn’t worry about the case. As long as theres decent airflow for the PC and its looked after, it’ll be fine. Beautiful build imo, congrats!

This is a solid system and should last you comfortably for a few years.
Beyond that certain components might hold you back. The PSU doesn't give you a lot of room for upgrades, so if you want to keep playing the latest and greatest titles you might have to start compromising on graphics settings in a few years time.
But you're going to have at least 3 or 4 great years of gaming and streaming out of this build, so what you should really do is put on some noise cancelling headphones to drown out all the haters (me included!), and have some fun enjoying the fact you got a bespoke PC delivered in two weeks during one of the most disruptive periods in recent history.

It's worth saying that a PSU can be upgraded. It's not necessarily the most enjoyable task in PC maintenance, but it can be done. Obviously it's better not to have to, but it's not absurdly difficult.

A TXm, i may be wrong, but you only have to remove the 24 pin i think, which isn’t too bad, although with a fully modular RM psu, you wouldn’t even do that.

If you have a psu, where wires can’t be removed, then you’ll have plenty of fun, swapping all the cables for the motherboard, drives, gpu etc. Not drastically difficult, but probably not something you want to do, if you’re buying a prebuilt machine.
