Knowing my luck, with the last big order i got from SCAN, which was the PS5 launch day pre-order, the 5090 will end up being cancelled and refunded and i will have to wait upto a year before it lands in my hands,

So order is in, payment has been taken but my hopes of getting it on/before May 28th not very high at the moment based on my PS5 pre-order experience, until i see the email come through of it being shipped/dispatched.

I should have my Zotac Solid RTX 5090 in the next few days as I've just got an email from Scan, showing it now been dispatched,
When i placed my order on it back in January, I was put in a queue and my placement in the queue was 391 and that was just for the Zotac Solid card,

Only concern i have, is that it's going to be a very tight squeeze to fit into my Corsair Crystal Series 680X case, The Zotac card shows it has a length of 329mm and my case supports upto 330mm in gpu length, However i've seen builds with the 680X case having big gpu in them that exceed 330mm upto 350mm in length, what those people have done, is to move to front fans from the door that holds them and move the fans over to the other side of that door to make more space for longer gpu's that exceed 330mm in length...

My 3080ti at 300mm in length and the space i have to the front fans.

Downside to moving the fans to the other side of the door, there no where to put the dust filter and the fans are going to be much closer the the front glass window, if i have to move the fans to the other side of what i call the fan door,

My last resort is to spend more money and get a bigger case and move everything over into a new case, but i will see how it goes first and what i'll need to do when my 5090 arrives, i have my finger crossed🤞 it'll just fit in my case without me having to need to do anything.

I was in exactly the same position as you with my recent upgrade, it just about fitted, was 2mm under specs wise.

Hope it’s good, fingers crossed!

My 5090 is now in, but it would not fit in, so i had to move my front case fans to the other side of the fan door, which means the dust filter is now behind the fans instead of in front of them and i had to remove the front glass panel of the case to accommodate the new fan position or the fans would have been right up on the glass window...

The space that was left, the front case fans had to move.

Everything is up and running after a couple of hours of fiddling around to get this 5090 to fit in, just need to try some games now.

I don't see anymore upgrades for my PC, The 5090 was the very last upgrade for my build, When it's time to upgrade the gpu again, I'll be skipping the RTX 6000 series, I'd be looking at the RTX 7000 series and i don't think we'll see that for another 4-5 years, By that time my PC is going to be 9-10 years old, By the time the RTX 7000 series gets released i'm going to be looking at a complete full new PC build,
It only feels like yesterday that i bought my PC from PCspecialist but it has served me well for the 5 and a half years I've had it and still going strong.

By that time, the GPU will be £4k and the rest of the PC will only be £500 ;)
