My current one (i5-2500, GTX 1660 Ti, 16 GB RAM, purchased from PCS) just isn't cutting it anymore, struggling to play the new games I want to play even at low settings, so I was hoping you'd all help me put one together since my hardware knowledge is well and truly out of date to the point that I don't even know what I'm looking at anymore.
I already have THIS monitor, purchased a few months ago in advance. I have all other peripherals, I just need the PC itself. It'll be used solely for gaming, no video editing/streaming or anything like that. Budget is around £1,800. I play a lot of strategy games. I want to play STALKER 2 and a bunch of other games which aren't as demanding as it, so if it can run that then that'll be fine. I don't need to be able to play them with every graphic setting cranked up to maximum, it's good solid frame rate that's important to me - I've been gaming since the early 90's so modern games look out of this world to me even if they're only at medium settings lol.
I realise £1,800 is kind of low-mid for a gaming PC these days (such are the times) but later on in the year or perhaps next year I'll have more money to upgrade the graphics card to one of these fancy new ones that just released.
Thanks in advance, and if any other information is needed before recommending a build then let me know and I will provide it.
