Need Advice: New Gaming PC

Hi,
I'm looking to configure a custom pc for gaming but this is my first custom pc and was wondering if anyone had suggestions? My budget is around £1000, happy for something I could build off of later, just need a good base. Thanks for any advice.

What monitor will you be aiming to use?

prices are very high at the moment so is there any wiggle room in your budget?

Do you have another Window's PC or laptop you won't use after this? Even if it's not a custom one you can take the copy of Window's from it which will save £85 which is a lot of money for a build at this price.

Also is the monitor one you already have or will you need one? If you'll need one, is it included in this budget or do you have a seperate one for it?

I have a laptop so i can use that for a copy of windows. I'd say my max is £1500 for the pc. Thank you.

This is what I'd go for for your budget

5600X is a great CPU for gaming at the moment. For that monitor I'd recommend a 3060TI. For storage, I've put in a 1TB SSD for your Windows, Games and Programs then a 2TB HDD for general file storage. The RMx850W will comfortably power this system and leave tonnes of room for upgrades and the silver warranty is well worth the £5

If you were able to extend your budget a little bit more we could improve the storage layout but for the new budget, this should be a great system!
