Any suggestions for a monitor? I don't really know how much a 144 1440p monitor would cost

As @Steveyg has said, the Samsung G5 is a good option and a forum favourite. Another good option if you're a fan of red is the AOC CQ27G2U, which actually beats the G5 in this RTings review. Or if you'd rather a flat version, there's a Q27G2U, all three are about £300 online

The AOC monitors are great but damn do I absolutely hate the red line at the bottom of the monitor that I can't unsee

Especially because I like everything green the red just makes it stand out even more

😂 Realisitcally it's only 2, there's just a curved and flat option of one of them, otherwise I believe they're the same monitor. And good choice, for the price, I've heard good things about that one!

Personally I love the red! Although my setup is red and black so it'd work well with it. I'd imagine if you had another colour it would clash a little bit 😂 I've suggested to people that if you're crafty with some electrical tape I'm sure the red is easy to remove, although the red on the stand may be a little harder to deal with.

Black Sharpie is the first thing that came to mind the first time I seen the monitor. It instantly ruled it out as an option for me
