If you answer the questions that, that raises, then yes you'll get an opinion
Is it worth rewriting the opening of the helpful hints link? This isn’t the first poster who has assumed the link is simply a disclaimer rather than reading the rest.

OP information usually required is

what are you using the PC for - gaming (modern AAA games or older stuff) work ( if so what software?) anything else - streaming, photography etc

What is the maximum budget?

What is the resolution and refresh rate of any monitor you’re using?

Also in the link is advice on how to post the configuration link to the forum which makes editing easier and various links to advice on what components to select.

Nah, all they need to do is put a little effort and click on a hyperlink... 😉

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I’m going to say it anyway.

1. there is a concerted trolling effort against this forum.

2. even if if is genuine, from basic reading comprehension you’d see the … at the end of the preview and know that the sentence isn’t finished which would logically make you investigate further, any technical mindset would naturally deduce it was a hyperlink at that point. If people can’t see it from that perspective at such a basic level, there’s no way they’re going to have the technical ability to be able to maintain a custom pc.

Its really hard. I often read these threads and think posting the helpful hints link by itself can come across as quite passive aggressive to new forum users. It shouldn't - its an attempt to help them and I do understand that we have to balance the possible feelings of new users against the fragile sanity of forum members having to ask the exact same questions again and again...

Maybe just pasting it into a reply as a block of text, rather than as a link that needs opening, might help? Then they can easily see the whole message and realise there's not much there to parse. As it stands, the link preview looks like the full text could potentially be a lot to read and I suspect that puts some people off clicking it. @BlessedSquirrel has more faith in the reading comprehension skills of the public than I do!

I've moved the NB bit to the bottom and referenced hyperlink in the first line, hopefully that should help a little with any confusion :)

I always try to assume positive intent and roll with it when the intentions aren't pure. Just less stressful in general :D
As I’ve been taught from Doctor House

In life - the customer is always right.

In IT - End users always lie

Your rewording appears to be working! Based on a case series of two.
