Need some help (power cut)

Hey so i have my pc plugged into the wall and i had a power cut a couple of minutes ago, what are the advice and steps i need to ensure for my pc to not get damaged cuz im stressing out rn lol thank you for y'alls help in advance

Basically a power cut happened yesterday while my pc was on and i unplugged it and its been unplugged since, i have not turned it on, its been off for more than 24 hours, am i okay to switch it back on? Can there be any damage? And am i good? I apologise for the abundance of questions, i just wanna know if im all good to go before i plug everything in and thank you all in advance, any and all help is deeply appreciated

If you're using it with a surge protector, then it will be safe.

If you're not, any possible damage will have already been done at the time of the surge.

You basically have to use a surge protector on any computing equipment.

I didnt use a surge protector, am i still okay? Am i good to boot it up?

Yes, if it boots up and doesn't start randomly switching off, then it's fine.

If you hear any electronic crackling, strange noises, or strange smells, then turn it off immediately.

BUT, please go out and buy a surge protector, so that you don't have to worry about this issue again (and remember that the PCS warranty can be voided if you don't have a surge protector fitted).
