* Build quality is great.

* Great performance.

* Screen is a bit too tight... but can be opened with one hand.

* No G-Sync is no problem as long as you have 85FPS+ and stable frametimes.

* Seagate 2TB 5400rpm is noisy - Much more so then a 1TB 5400rpm or 7200rpm one would be. Can be heard clearly using on board microphone and to a degree with external ones.

* Control Center breaks if it's set to auto start with Windows.

* CPU/GPU temps average around 85C under load and can reach 90C in some cases while in Game Mode.

Hey I too just bought one of these but with the RTX 2060, 32gb Corsair 2400 RAM and a 1TB SSD, great laptop so far. Do you know how to get the case off im trying to fit another drive? im still awaiting pc specialist to respond after I sent them a photo of the underside which they asked for.

cheers

Yeah, I had some trouble with the back cover the first time I tried to remove it.

I found that by removing the 11 screws on the back cover (10 around the edges and one in the middle), and using a suction cup on the lower flat surface, I was able to pull the backcover off enough to get a pry tool in. It doesn't seem to damage the clips holding the backcover doing this but it might not be the best option. Would be interested in seeing what PCS recommend if they get back to you.

Also, adding some images of the internals.

Hi Jack, thanks for your reply. PC Specialist did come back to me and circled 10 screws forgetting one of the corner screws. Im sure it was just an error on their part but they didnt advise anything else but to remove the screws, so no farther forward with their advice. Have emailed them again to see what they say next.

cheers
