Its good for the basic everyday general normal use but would struggle if its for anything more intensive.

Thanks for the reply. It's essential use would be for everyday use, using microsoft office and the internet. But I would like to upgrade it with a graphics card to be able to play games like starcraft of Dawn of War 2 in the future. Would you recommend any graphics cards, and do you reckon it will be able to cope with the game requirements? Perhaps I should increase the power supply to 600W to do this...

specs should be fine for that.

you will certainly need to increase the psu to something bigger for a graphics card. before i recommend anything. is there a budget that you're working on?

No not particularly, for a psu I shouldn't have to go above £70 for a 600W psu should I ? And the cooling system would I need to go up to £30? I'm sure you recommendations will be good

for gaming i wouldnt really recommend anything lower than a 6770 for the amd cards, for the nvidia line up, nothing lower than a 550Ti.

for the psu, you dont have to but a quality psu will be better energy efficient espcially down the road in future and will have less likely chances of failures or problems. you can always upgrade the psu down the line to a better quality one which should be a fairly simple task.

as for the cooler, a tripple copper cooler would be perfectly fine.

This is something to look into for a build which would manage fine for your use which works up more for the price but is a good all rounder balanced build:

If price is quite high then have you considered an AMD system? they are just as good as intel but provides better price performance ratio so are slightly cheaper.
