So I've had a few issues with HWMonitor giving false readings and even not picking up dGPU's on laptops.

Plus, another thing very rightfully pointed out is that it can't do active logging.

Jay has found what he thinks is a worthwhile new solution which is actually an open source fork of HWMonitor, currently only hosted on GitHub but he guides you on how to get it installed

It's called LibreHardwareMonitor

Interesting I thought as I have had HW Monitor for years. However, not long after the start of the video and I was lost. I did watch for 6 minutes (total length 20 minutes) and then gave up.
I will leave this one to the experts.
