if its any consolation (which im sure its not) but we've all been there. Checking the status every hour, every day. Longest couple of weeks in my life.

Good advice from Vanthus. Best thing to do is to try not to think about it, then before you know it you'll have a shiny new pc to play games on :)

I'm watching Youtube videos for Euro Truck Sim 2 that I've bought and I can't stop thinking about it! lol

The week is already dragging.

I'm trying not to look to see what stage its at, maybe that'll help a little.

Yes the waiting part is the worst... however what you definitely shouldn't do is start looking at your PC in the configurator again... I spent way over my budget by just tweaking this here and that there and amending my order.

Hmm some say that watching youtube vids on games your going to play makes things worse, but for some it helps.
Definitely try and avoid checking the status, time will pass faster :)

Any other games your itching to play apart from Euro Truck Sim 2?

I spent way over my budget

Its amazing how easy it is to do that isn't it?

I cope by helping other people spend over their budget too :p

If your anything like me then you would regret not putting in that little extra ££ to get the better system - even if it means i'll be living on bread and water for the next wee while. LOL

Of course, I am happier now I have the system I want but I remember at the time not having any cash for a month was not fun in the slightest haha

That's what I think too lol

Yes, I've preordered Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag 'Skull' Edition. Was going to buy the Buccaneer Edition (£20 cheaper on the PC than XboxOne!!!!) But I opted for the Skull Edition. I also bought the latest Tomb Raider, although I've already played it on the 360. I might purchase COD: GHOSTS, but I want to know if I can play it on my PC first until I buy it.

There's no controller support for AC4 at the moment, and I'm hoping there will be soon. I've been reading up on the internet and it seems that all the previous games have had controller support, so I don't see any reason why AC4 won't have. Just

Ahh im really looking forward to AC4 as well. Didn't really like the previous AC games, but this one looks really good. Tomb Raider looks amazing on an R9 280x card.
Remember if you can hold off for a few weeks there will be a Steam sale just around the corner. with up to 75% to even 80% discounts on some games.
That's another time of the year where my wallet takes a massive battering :(

Glad you're happy with your system Cadwah :)

Deklore.

Forgot about Minecraft too! But I would have to get the Tekkit mod!

I've enjoyed the previious AC games but AC4 will, I think, be the best one I've played so far. I was going to buy it on the 360, but thought I would wait.
I'll be using the xbox 360 contoller on the PC with AC4 and Truck Sim 2. Also have an old joystick that I could try, but have to see if I can get it to work.

I'll be using a 360 controller on AC4 too. I use one for Tomb Raider and recently completed Arkham City with it as well. I generally use the controller for 3rd person games and racing games. Strategy & FPS = keyboard & mouse.

Call me childish but im also looking to get Lego Marvel Superheroes. That game looks fun as hell!

Erm... I was actually thinking about Marvel too hehe

Too many games I'd like to try out there and I NEED to save my pennies. I can't do both. I'm going to try not to buy too many games at the moment.

Very good point, my desktop went from ~£700 to ~£1200 while I was in pre production lol

I'm going to leave the 2nd Hard disc and see if I really need one. I looked on website and they seem cheap, even the Cavair ones.

Just wondering, why would you want to move games to the second hard drive?
unless installing an SSD in future.

To have more room for my photos on programs on the main drive? and leave the 2nd for just games?

What is the difference between HDD and SSD?
And which one would be more better?

Is it just a case of moving my save games to the 2nd drive. Will they work properly?

1TB should be plenty for programs, storing photos could be on any drive. I would put my games on a caviar black and use any other HDD drive to store photos.

SSDs are better but more expensive.
