Just wanted to ask, how does it work with the order. Do they make the PCF for you and deliver it with all of the hardware parts installed then you install the software?

Yes, they build and test the system before shipping it to you. You can add your own addition parts once you receive it.

You can't order a PC without an SSD/HDD.

That CPU is pretty poor, and an RX 550 is going to be below min spec for some modern titles.

You'd be better off buying a console, assuming the games you want to play are on console. And if they're not a second hand PC would probably suit you better. Or build you own since you have a lot of the parts you need already.

At the very least, if buying the above from PCS, drop the very expensive SSD and go for a 1TB HDD. Spend what you save on an R5 2600, as it's actually a decent CPU.

When you say "some gaming" - what are we talking about here?

Tbh I mainly play just rocket league and I have a 75Hz monitor, so that's all I really need it for. Is this good enough to play rocket league at 75fps do you think.
I have an old Intel Xeon CPU that runs at 2.4GHz which I have used for almost 10 years and I'm not sure how the other ones compare to this one, do you think you could help me with this?

So you already have a graphics card and an SSD you can add. And you need a PC for general office work type stuff, as well as a game.

What's the budget?

Just as cheap as possible I guess, probably around £350. I'm considering getting a new 500gb ssd and then selling the 1tb 850 evo that I have on ebay, as I only need 500gb.

That sounds like more effort than it's worth and overthinking the situation a bit tbh, but your call.

I'd suggest getting a CPU that doesn't completely suck. And a better case to give you a bit more in the way of upgrade options. Also dual channel RAM.

Drop the SSD to an HDD to afford that. You already have an SSD.

Yeah I'll have a better look at the cases and you're probably right with the CPU as wel and the RAM. Dunno about the HDD/SSD yet, but I'll figure it out. Thanks for the help :)
