New PC No Signal to LG TV

Having recently purchased a new custom built PC, it was delivered today and after unpacking the item and plugging it in everything lit up and the PC powered on but I'm receiving a No Signal from the PC using the HDMI port on to my LG TV. Previously I have used a laptop for the last number of years and my last desktop was over 10 years ago. I tried pushing the card back in just in case it had become unseated during transit but everything was fine as it should be. I even tried different HDMI cables just in case. There are display ports on the back but I don't own a monitor as was wanting to use the PC through the TV on HDMI.

Anybody got any ideas?

When you opened up the case, did you check for any other loose parts - did you just push it back in, or remove it and reseat it to make sure it was lined up properly?

Check to ensure you have plugged into the correct HDMI slot on the card (and not the motherboard).

If you need any more help, then you will be better pasting in your full spec from the PCS account page so that people know what to ask about.

The BSOD Doctor
Try plugging in the HDMI cable. Then turn the TV on and select the appropriate input on it. Only then boot the PC.

Sometimes HDMI needs the 'monitor' on when the PC boots

I've managed to get the PC to boot so I can do the initial setup. I was getting the AF: Detect Memory error but I went and researched on the internet to discover that sometimes there is a problem from cold boot on the ASUS motherboards. I held down the power button for 5 seconds to power down the PC and then pressed power to turn it back on again and it has gotten past the initial error but will be keeping my eye on this.
