No power at all

So, I got my PC today and was pretty disappointed to find it not power on at all. I tried the switch both ways, three different kettle leads, and four different plug sockets in my home to pretty much rule out any dumb issues like that.
Upon calling Pcspecialist and explaining this, I was met with "Try reseating your GPU/RAM" I have done both, and even so, I am not entirely sure what that would have to do with no power whatsoever. You'd just get the usual bleepdybleeps of "something is wrong" if those were dislodged, but it would still actually light up/fan noise etc.
So either, I think board is dead or PSU is somehow fried despite their supposed "14 hours of testing". I'm not trying to be a douche here, but the guy on tech support really did not sound interested in trying to help me and suggested a friend take a look at it, or I file an RMA.

So, is there anything else I can try? I even checked to see if the wires were loose on the front panel in case that was causing the power to not go on.

Sorry to ask, but have you turned on the power on the PSU?

If you mean the switch at the back next to the power cable itself, yep. That's what I meant with tried the switch both ways in case I was being dumb :<
I mean, any number of things could have happened in shipping, they do test them thoroughly, there's no ideal way to get them to you, there's always gonna be risks in delivery.

The other thing is check the 8 PIN CPU connector and 24 PIN motherboard connector, those are the main power sources to the Mobo, if there's no lights at all, then it suggests CPU to motherboard isn't going through.

I also brought up that it could've been knocked about in shipping but they were adamant that was extremely rare and unlikely the case (said the same about it being a PSU issue too), which is why I'm frustrated. I felt like every logical thing I could think of and suggest would just get shut down.

Those are both in place, is there a fix for the CPU to motherboard if that is the issue?

can you post the full spec from your orders page, so we can see exactly what we are dealing with

Yup no probs, I'm desperate to find a solution because everything that I have tried just hasn't fixed it (making sure the pins are in, reseating GPU/RAM etc)

Well, no, it means there's a faulty component. You'd have to RMA it.
So I wouldn't be being unreasonable to file an RMA? I've been back and fourth on it because I feel like I'm being petty over something tech support made me feel like a no brainer fix.

You don't need to speak to tech support to arrange an RMA, you can do it through your online account, just go to the My Returns bit, RMA, whole system.

Thank you, I knew how to RMA, but when I suggested the idea on the phone to the guy on the other end, he just made it out like it's this big load of work and I should try eeeeeeeeverything and ask my tech friends to have a look first. I've both asked here now, and asked tech friends and from the looks of it, you're all in agreement it's a fault, so off to RMA it is.

Hold on, there is one other thing to try, the power button on the case is plugged into the motherboard with a tiny 2 pin cable, just make sure that's inserted properly (one labelled Power Switch) also make sure the polarity is correct:

It's number 11 on the board:

But failing that, it means no power is getting to the board. Nothing really you can do.

Before getting my recent PC Specialist desktop I had for about 15 years had a series of laptops and an iMac. What all these things had in common was a single power on button. So I thought my shiny new desktop was dead when nothing happened when I switched it on via the PSU switch. I had forgotten that you had to then press a button on the front of the case as well. I am mentioning that here in case that is what you are doing?
